One of our pediatricians is available at all hours.
Most non-urgent questions regarding your child are best answered by your child’s pediatrician.
If you have an emergency with a sick or injured child after hours, please contact our physician on call at (361) 853-3222.
In the case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.

Visits
- Patients are seen by appointment only
- Appointments can be made by calling (361) 853-3222
- The office receptionists begin taking phone calls for the day at 8:00AM Monday through Saturday, and at 9:00AM on Sundays.
- If you wish, you can call our office after office hours and leave a recorded message for our receptionists requesting an appointment for the next day
- These messages are checked, by our receptionists, as soon as they arrive in the morning, and will call you back with your appointment time
Bring the following to every visit
- Current insurance card: For HMO plans or Medicaid
- Current immunization record
- Photo ID
If you are unable to keep a “well check” appointment,
please give us 24 hours notice.
If you are unable to keep a “sick child” appointment,
please notify us as soon as possible.
This way, we can offer that time to other families.
Phone Consult
- Routine questions are received during regular office hours
- Leave your question or request with the receptionist,
and a nurse or doctor will return your call when possible
Refills
- Please have your prescriptions refilled during regular office hours
- Simply call your pharmacy and give your prescription number and the pharmacist will then call us for approval
- Please try to do this a day or two before you actually need the medication refilled
- Refills will not be done after office hours, except in emergency situations
- Narcotics or ADD medications are never refilled after office hours
- You may be asked to see your child’s doctor for an office visit before a prescription is refilled
